kiradu temple mystery story |
According to the local people, 900 years ago Kiradu was ruled by the Parmar dynasty. At that time, one day a saint came to live here with some of his disciples. After staying here for a few days, he decided to move ahead. One day, without informing his disciples, he left from here one night. A few days after his departure, all those disciples became ill. No one from the village helped him. Only one potter served him without any greed. His illness was cured after some time. When the sage reached the same place while roaming around, he became very angry after seeing the weak condition of his disciples.
He told the villagers.........
There is no use for mankind to live in a place where there is no mercy for humans and by saying this he cursed the entire villagers to turn into stone. The potter who served the disciples was kept untouched and asked to go out of the village without turning back before evening. But the woman accidentally looked back and she also became a statue of stone.
